The ability to build high-trusting teams, even in times of stress, will help you and others show up as their best selves in every interaction.

This five-day intensive workshop will provide you with a deep understanding of the traps we fall into in times of stress and practices you can take back to your organization to build truly high-trusting relationships. Built on the foundations of Conversational Intelligence, you’ll learn to leverage the neuroscience of trust and how that affects the way you and others connect and collaborate.

This course has been certified by SHRM and will earn you 13 PDC credits upon completion.

Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ) is based on Neuroscience Research, specifically the Neuroscience of Conversations. C-IQ provides us with a deep understanding into how every conversation has an impact, and as we learn about our conversational patterns, we are able to Architect, Deconstruct, and Shape our conversations with others one conversation at a time! Once you learn what patterns drive connectivity and trust and what drive fear and distrust, you are able to connect, engage, navigate, and co-create with others in healthy ways. Understanding the Neuroscience of Conversations and applying this wisdom inside companies transforms individuals, teams, and organizations and opens up new pathways for mutual success.

MEET TERESA

Dr. Teresa Peterson is the Director of Learning and Development for Sarah Noll Wilson, Inc. In her daily work, she serves as Sarah’s key content collaborator. Teresa enjoys facilitating, researching, and is passionate about applying best practices for learning to make our experiences meaningful, engaging, and accessible for all types of learners. Teresa holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Northern Iowa and brings over twenty years of experience teaching, facilitating, and leading to our team. Our clients love Teresa’s grounded energy, depth of thought, and ability to listen deeply.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Impactful leaders are those who are willing to be curious about themselves and others. Using our proprietary Model of Perpetual Learning, you will move through five phases of development. 

Module One: Foundations of Powerful Relationships

Most often in organizations we are focused more on the task than the togetherness. Our first session will examine the key factors that create powerful relationships. We will introduce and apply tools and frameworks to help you show up more intentionally in your relationships.

module Two: Assessing Relationships Through the Trust Continuum

When we can see the relationship more clearly, we can show up more intentionally. Our second session will expand and add tools/frameworks to help you more accurately see where you (and others) are on the trust continuum. We will begin to explore how to move from a place of protection to a place of partnership.

Module Three: Navigating the Impact of Stress

Stress impacts our ability to listen, empathize, create, and collaborate. Our third session will unpack what happens to the brain on stress, explore common stress responses, and unpack ways to help ourselves and others recover from a stress response.

Module Four: Repair Relationships

Regrettable events are inevitable in every relationship. Our fourth session will explore strategies to help you more thoughtfully work to repair relationships when a regrettable event happens. We will explore how to apologize powerfully, how to share the impact someone made on you, and how to move forward regardless of the outcome.

Module Five: Reflection, Connection, and Celebration

Bringing it all together. Our final session will provide space for us to discuss situations impacting those in the co-hort. We will apply all of the tools and frameworks introduced to real life case studies to deepen understanding and practice. Together we will celebrate the ways we are all thinking differently and doing differently as a result of our time together.
