We are beyond excited to announce the addition of two incredible leadership coaches that will support our clients in their transformational journeys.
Gilmara Vila Nova-Mitchell joins us as an executive coach and transformational facilitator. For almost two decades, Gilmara has been supporting organizations in becoming more equitable, inclusive, and human-centric through her engaging professional learning sessions, leadership development programs and executive leadership coaching. Gilmara has a passion for bringing together DEI, organizational culture, and engagement initiatives into a cohesive effort.
Gilmara has extensive experience working with HR managers, chief diversity officers, and senior leaders from a variety of industries. In addition to being a DEI/Leadership Coach, Gilmara has served as a Leadership/Equity consultant at Heartland Area Education Agency for 14 years and as part of her role supported Des Moines Public schools with their equity effort. In this capacity, she oversees the district’s equity efforts, develops strategic plans and collaborates with the assessment team to create equity-driven monitoring tools and provide coaching and consulting to the district’s leaders.
Born in Brazil, Gilmara moved to the United States in 2001. She holds a Bachelor of Multicultural Education from FUMEC University (Brazil) and an MSE in School Counseling from Drake University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior with a focus on trust in the workplace.
Memorea Schrader joins us as an executive coach and has been supporting a number of our clients for over the past year. She grew into our company so organically I realized we hadn’t formally announced our partnership with her. This is well over due! Memorea has a passion and talent for helping leaders and teams show up at their best. She brings over 15 years’ experience of driving organizational development and creating cultures where people at all levels can thrive.
Memorea has extensive experience in Organization Development through her tenured career in Human Resources at various organizations. While she has supported many industries of various sizes and the leaders within, she is especially passionate about working with new or emerging leaders. In addition to leadership coaching, Memorea is currently the Vice President of Human Resources for CIPCO where she leads the team responsible for the strategic direction, management, and development of CIPCO’s employees. This includes focusing on attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.
Memorea holds a Bachelor in Business Management from University of Northern Iowa, a Master’s of Science Degree in Adult Learning and Organizational performance from Drake University and is a Certified Co-Active Coach. Most recently she is a graduate of Leadership Iowa.
Both Memorea and Gilmara are playing a critical role in helping us shape and redesign our coaching approach to more powerfully serve the leaders we support. In additional to their extensive skills and decorated backgrounds, they share our deep commitment to mental health, passion for building authentic relationships, and creating workplaces that serve the humans who work there. I’ve been fortunate enough to be coached by both of these incredible people, have learned from them, and cannot wait for others to experience the same.
